Cameroonians swap oil for plastic to cut costs

[Article] The price for oil for oil lamps has more than doubled in Cameroon in the last ten years, prompting many families to turn to a new type of fuel -- plastic. Known as 'allumé allumé, the plastic is a waste product from local shoe factories. But it burning it poses a danger to their health and the environment.
